A victory by Rebecca Bennett tonight in the CD-7 Democratic Primary quadrupled a sense of consternation among Republicans who tried hard through a PAC to prevent it from happening, while hoping Democrats would finish off the D's best shot to flip this battleground congressional district.

It’s primary day in NJ! In NJ-7 we have three good candidates. I don’t think any of them are perfect. I ultimately voted for Rebecca Bennett based on my conversations with her over the past year, discussions with the other candidates, and speaking with people who endorsed her and others.

In NJ-7, I'm expecting a relatively easy win for Rebecca Bennett. Voters there are mostly concerned with electability, and that, plus her financial advantage, is going to make it hard for anyone else to win.
