Trump endorses missing Rep. Tom Kean Jr. despite months‑long absence
President Donald Trump endorsed New Jersey Rep. Tom Kean Jr. for reelection Tuesday, writing "HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" and Kean publicly thanked him. Kean, 57, has not been seen in public or cast a House vote since March 5 and has missed more than 100 floor votes while aides say he is being treated for a personal medical condition. Despite his absence he introduced a bill on preeclampsia last week, showing he continues to file legislation without attending votes. The endorsement matters because voters in Kean's district need clarity about WHO will provide representation and perform congressional duties if he remains absent.
Trump is so unaware of what is happening in his Congress that he just endorsed Tom Kean Jr; you know, the guy who hasn't been seen since March. In Trump's endorsement he says Keen will 'never let you down.' He's already missed over 100 votes in Congress.
