UK MPs debate NHS single patient record
MPs began debating a government plan to create a single NHS patient record, a unified electronic file linking health and social care with a planned rollout from 2027. Ministers say the reform could cut 20,000 A&E visits a year by reducing misdiagnoses and improving coordination for frail elderly patients WHO move between trusts. Campaigners and clinicians say the programme must guarantee strong data security, give patients control over WHO can see their records, and restrict third-party access before nationwide deployment.
#Butterflies #r4Today Nowt wrong with combining NHS Medical Data in single patient record in principle... Profoundly wrong that Palantir, a US Spyware company is managing NHS & other Govt Data. How will their grubby little hands & AI be kept away from it? #DumpTrump Purge #Palantir
Hmm. Palantir & Thiel have MOD contracts & he’s thinning out to Argentina. What could possibly go wrong?
My heart sinks whenever I see the name Palantir linked to any UK public body or goverment organisation. We are handing information control to the Americans who cannot be trusted not to use it against us.
Palantir with its foot print in Brexit is now a major global political power. That fact alone should disqualify them.
