Kerry-Lynne Findlay won the BC Conservative Party leadership on May 30, 2026, defeating Caroline Elliott on the fourth ballot. Findlay secured about 51 percent with 4,696.51 points, finishing roughly two points ahead of Elliott after four rounds of voting. Peter Milobar was eliminated on the first ballot, and other contenders included Iain Black and Yuri Fulmer. As a former federal MP, Findlay's election reshapes the BC Conservatives' profile ahead of the next provincial election and will affect how the party positions itself against Premier David Eby's NDP.
