Yordan Alvarez hits his 20th homer, gives Astros go-ahead in 8th
Yordan Alvarez hit a go-ahead solo home run in the eighth inning, his 20th of the season, giving the Houston Astros a 3-2 lead. Statcast measured the drive at a 109.3 mile-per-hour exit velocity with a projected 428-foot distance. The late power shot handed Houston the lead and reinforces Alvarez's role as a primary run producer in the Astros' middle of the lineup.
The only three pitchers in Major League history to hit a leadoff home run: Shohei Ohtani Shohei Ohtani Shohei Ohtani
Babe Ruth didn't bat leadoff.. In fact. Has another pitcher ever batted leadoff? If not for designated hitter, would he ever have played the field?
Please no more. So sick of constant ohtani...
I thought he didn’t count as a pitcher on the roster
The Only Player to Throw His “Interpreter”/ Bet Maker under the Bus. This Guy should not be in MLB! Can You say Pete Rose? #youwillneverchangemymind #ohtaniisascumbag
Yawn. 5innings a week. Doesnt even qualify for the ERA title. Hes barely pitched 4 seasons in 9 years... He should be doing more
Lot of cringeworthy petty jealousy here.
