techMay 26, 20263180

Google launched the Fitbit Air, a screenless fitness tracker available in $99 and $129 models that packs AI coaching, wrist-based heart monitoring, and up to seven days of battery life. By ditching a display, the Air emphasizes continuous physiological tracking and a slim, wrist-only design for all-day comfort. Google positions the device as a lower-cost alternative to Whoop by offering recovery and strain insights alongside automated coaching. The Air also supports an optional subscription for advanced coaching, aiming to simplify wearables for users WHO prefer silent, always-on monitoring over screen-driven gadgets.
