Reports: SpaceX IPO could make Elon Musk far richer
SpaceX filed a 277-page IPO prospectus and is preparing to go public in June. Analysts say the IPO would make Elon Musk dramatically richer by converting a large portion of SpaceX's private equity into tradable shares. A public SpaceX would deepen Musk's financial clout across Starlink, launch services, and his other companies, reshaping competition and regulatory scrutiny in the commercial space sector.
I wrote about Elon Musk's attack on Lupita Nyong'o, and how it is important to put that in the context of the fact that Musk launched an actual ongoing genocide against non-white people which has already killed hundreds of thousands. www.everythingishorrible.net/p/musk-attac...
It is immoral to consider Hitler's art criticism separate from his genocide. The same is true for Musk.
I totally agree! This is why i've been protesting every week since Feb 2025, and why I'm running for congress! bsky.app/profile/joel...
I think you are being too kind to Chatterton Williams. He isn’t just a fool. Like Musk, he is a fool and a racist who, as you sort of point out, runs cover for racist/fascist talking points.
A good country would be putting Musk on trial for crimes against humanity.
For inquiring minds that may not already know….
New in PN: Elon Musk is about to get richer and more powerful than ever "If the artificial intelligence industry was built on a bubble before, it’s about to get even more so — and your retirement account could depend on whether that bubble pops."
Built on the backs of scientists and funded by our tax dollars. Elon is a fraud bankrolling himself on our dimes.
This is such a failure. We know we are diving into a pool without water. Head first.
He is such a successful conman. After all, Tesla's valuation relies on people believing that Tesla isn't just a car company, it does AI and other overhyped shit. However, all the AI stuff was transferred to SpaceX. There is no AI attached to Tesla, but it is still grossly overvalued as a Car Co.
I'm tired of these people breathing our oxygen
Tesla sales collapse because Musk is toxic. Twitter loses huge numbers of participants because Musk is toxic. SpaceX rockets routinely fail. And yet Musk gets money thrown at him non-stop. How does this make sense? 🤨
Real scientists are being replaced with billionaires who don’t pay taxes. The republicans are 100% onboard with this travesty. Vote accordingly.
"'...when that bubble pops.'" -- Fixed it!
What country will save the world by locking this dangerous man up? #France
Do Elon Musk’s companies are increasingly starting to resemble a Ponzi-like structure: Tesla, with its weak sales figures, being propped up by xAI, which itself has weak user numbers and high costs, and xAI in turn being propped up by SpaceX, whose revenue may be overestimated?
A legit enemy of the state.
He’s Gaius Baltar, but dumber.
Release what the law requires already. Not stuff related to the victims that is not supposed to be released. "2 Weeks" tRump... #OperationEpsteinFury #SendBarron #EpsteinFiles #EpsteinBallroom #EpsteinVisa #Maxwell #FollowTheMoney #StuckWithAMoronForAPresident
Weak politicians are enabling him.
He needs to be kicked out of US permanently
The SpaceX IPO will be the largest in history, and it's built almost entirely on hype. But it'll still make Elon Musk a trillionaire. And if you have a retirement account, you'll be invested in it whether you want to or not. My latest for Public Notice: www.publicnotice.co/p/spacex-ipo...
Tesla was also built on hype.
I can't wait to see Musk fined a trillion dollars for his DOGE crimes.
FUN FACT: "SpaceX lost nearly $4.3 billion in the first three months of 2026." bsky.app/profile/paul...
he can't take it with him. I just want to see him disappear.
Just like the artificial hype off AI being used to call this the gilded age” certainly is when you take a cheap tacky item and paint it with fools gold, “ the gilded age is correct
Holy crap this is such scary sh!t. Brilliant writing for those of us who find the entire AI stuff confusing. Thank you. Shared.
Doesn't this program inadvertently blow up their own rockets and cause injuries of its own employees that go unreported?
I thought that data centers in space must surely be a joke. And yet here we are. It seems like everyday something that would be inconceivably stupid a day earlier is just our new reality hell.
We're just about through with legal review for Elon Take The Wheel, which means the book that explains how Elon Musk's wealth is built on a stack of corpses (probably) won't get me sued into homelessness! Please pre-order your copy today, and help build momentum! benbellabooks.com/shop/elon-ta...
In related news, Jensen the Jacket admitted to lying to Elon Musk in order to sell him on an overpriced box with 8 Pascal GPUs. Also, i love the photo attached to the article. Peak tech enthusiasts at work.
I'm gonna bring mine to CES to get you to autograph it.
Please tell me you live in California so that when that Nazi tries to sue you anyway you can SLAPP him silly.
thanks for writing this, just requested the my library pick up a copy
We are only 6 MONTHS away from Tesla Robots in every home. What could go wrong.
as part of the spacex ipo presentation they should have to read elon's tweets out loud and say how often he makes them
the gulf between what we know about elon and what normal people know about elon is insanely wide and could be narrowed if they had unedited access to how he talks and acts
The Posting Graph should be the cover of the prospectus
Elon's lawyers visibly grimacing as his Steam account history is shared on screen
Or maybe interrupt the presentation at regular intervals representing his typical pace of posting with a tweet so that people get an idea of how much he actually pays attention to serious matters.
The largest IPO raise ever was Saudi Aramco, $29.4 billion. If SpaceX raises merely $30 billion, it runs out of cash before Q4 2027. (Not least because the first $20B is contractually obligated to pay off a bridge loan.) If it raises the full $75 billion, it's still out of cash by Q1 2029.
On the plus side, a fool and their money-
I think Saudi Aramco is a more durable business model than “ Idk give away AI or something and also rockets”
Nothing about this IPO makes sense.
I warned some of my old trading buddies who are still holding that things were looking bad. Tried to tell them to take at least enough profits (we got in about 2011) but they kept aaying that it was, essentially, fake news driven by "the shorts". I feel bad for them but, it's their money
It’s all smoke and mirrors
what if spacex buys tesla and then tesla buys spacex and then spacex buys tesla
In Jan, Musk received a pay package w/ 1.3 billion restricted shares. To earn them, Musk had to create a Mars colony w/ 1 million people + other goals. BUT (!) Musk can already vote those shares. They contribute to his 85% voting dominance at SpaceX ahead of its IPO www.nytimes.com/2026/05/26/t...
SpaceX said these shares are "performance-based," which may lead some to think Musk doesn't have access to them until the co hits those lofty goals. But Musk can vote them. He can take out loans against them w/ permission from the board (which he controls!) And he doesn't pay taxes on them yet.
A mars colony with a MILLION people?! We dont even have a moon shack with a hundred people who are these nutjobs I hate everything
There is no way ever to build a mars colony that can sustain 1 million people. It’s just not possible. Nor is getting them there
I think we are all going to be sorry this guy got so much money and power. I mean even more sorry than we are today.
Elon Musk has used Trump’s war in Iran to quintuple the amount he’s charging the Pentagon for SpaceX services.
The exact picture you see when you look up "fraud, waste, & abuse."
Space X should have been nationalized under Biden. It is basically a sanctioned extortion vehicle for the world’s richest asshole.
How much money is enough? We can’t feed the poor because we can’t satisfy the rich.
