FTR draws WWE interest after AEW Double or Nothing
WWE has renewed interest in FTR, the veteran tag team of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, following their loss at AEW Double or Nothing 2026. FTR dropped a marquee match at Double or Nothing, putting the team back in play as WWE pursues experienced tag-team signings. Signing FTR would give WWE an immediate veteran anchor for its tag division and remove one of AEW's top established teams, reshaping the tag-team landscape across both promotions.
Met a guy at the store today who watched #AEW for the first time last night. He got back into WWE 4 years ago, but started falling off again bc it wasn’t clicking. So he & his friends checked it out on a whim. Watched last night & immediately started looking up if AEW ever comes here. :)
I was like OMG I GOT YOU. Told him about Double or Nothing last year, and about how they always come here around Jan/Feb, and how they even had Collision in March! Mentioned Forbidden Door in CA next month.
Went to Lowe's earlier and a random said, "I like your shirt." I was wearing my All In TX shirt. I asked if he watched last night. Spent an extra 20 minutes at Lowe's talking to a stranger about our favorite spots, how much our emotions were pulled during the Fletcher/Takeshita segment, and Mox haha
AEW is Magical, if you're just willing to give it a chance.
I learnt of the Japanese idiom 'Kidoairaku' from this Vice video (has a baby Soup in there too) 14:06 "It refers to delight, anger, sorrow and fun" And I think that AEW has a great mix of all of that, plus it feels like they're doing wrestling WITH us rather than AT us 😂 youtu.be/DDR4xrzb2Rk?...
#AEW, where lapsed fans become Sickos, and never go back to the other place.
Even HE couldn’t front on last night’s show?????? What is happening on wrestling social media today? #AEW 🤼
Him, justalyx, and Solomonster all had all rave reviews..
1) the show was undeniable 2) JD at his core is a guy that reads the wind before he gives his opinion. He'll be back to his ol bullshit soon.
All my haters become my waiters when I sit down at the table of success.
