Jericho, The Elite and Hurt Syndicate win Stadium Stampede at Double or Nothing
Chris Jericho, The Elite, and the Hurt Syndicate defeated The Demand, the Don Callis Family, and The Dogs in the chaotic Stadium Stampede at AEW Double or Nothing. The multi-team brawl spilled across the stadium in a no rules environment, featuring signature spots and extended weapons-based exchanges. The match served as the pay-per-view's blockbuster multi-team finale at Double or Nothing. The victory positions Jericho's alliance as a dominant heel faction and sets up new cross-faction feuds for AEW's upcoming shows.
Video from @TheJoeFerro on X, The Everything App: They shot the #AEWDoN bus crash spot live in a spot that was visible from the stands in one of the sections directly next to an open air opening. (I don't know what else you'd call it.)
I was in the very back row and the mesh wall with the open air made it a touch chilly but tbh it was nice to have fresh air for the show and not just stale hot dog and pyro air.
Nice of Jungle Jack to total a golf cart to cheer up fellow Pillar Sammy Guevara. 😊
The commentary makes it “GTA, ya understand?”
This shot is so cool at really accentuating how after the colission the golf cart is just gone, pieces, smithereens
Super big missed opportunity to have davis return to the ring with even more bandages.
When ppl say that WWE matches tell "stories" and AEW matches don't, all it says to me is that, when it comes to pro wrestling, they are very slow "readers". #wrestlesky #AEWDoN
They’re excited when they finish the puzzle in a month, because the side of the box said “2-4 Years.”
WWE tells.Golden Book stories and AEW is giving us Novellas
To some people “stories” literally mean promos. Probably why those same people went nuts over Roman literally stating his character motivations during matches in his Bloodline run - it’s not storytelling unless the characters are talking, I guess.
"Slow reader" might even be too kind. - I think a lot of them are missing the context entirely, not just arriving late.
I mean the short Divine Dominion match told a very clear in less than 5 minutes. It was quote fascinating what they did in that short time If you care to pay attention or is interested in understanding No one is as blind as those that refuse to see.
AEW is character driven and tells stories through matches. WWE is plot driven and tells stories between matches. One of the uses the one thing that is unique for the artform to drive the characters development. The other is for people that don't like the word "artform".
Yeah, this is very much a reading level issue.
I was suffering fr. To experience such an epic high and then to be met with IMMEDIATE grief 🥲 #AEWDoN
Lmao. A very relatable account of events. 😂
I'm getting such PTSD grief hearing you scream out as soon as he turned. I truly love everything about this post hahaha
I'm not surprised. The guy shaved his hair on live TV, to become a bald man in AEW. Bald like Don Callis and Ricochet.
YOU WERE ALL OF US OMG
I’m gonna rewatch the whole show before we record but I am especially looking forward to the stadium stampede because it was pure joy and commentary losing their shit was a delight
I loved it when Taz and Excalibur were just wheezing at all of the shenanigans
I want to start off by saying that I loved it, and it was the kind of Looney Tunes nonsense that I love, the right mix of comedy nonsense and violent spectacle, but I did think during it that now I don’t know the difference between Stadium Stampede and Anarchy in the Arena. Or if there even is one.
It's the absolute best when the people whose job it is to be there and paying attention week after week are giggling in delight.
My husband went to bed before the show ended last night, so I rewatched the last 3 matches this evening with him. I enjoyed the Stadium Stampede even more the second time around
Oh so it's definitely worth finding time to watch if you were there live then?
Tony saying “meanwhile, back at the shopping cart” KILLED me
