I have been in the theater for every Star Wars movie until Solo on opening weekend since 1977. Empire Strikes Back ties with Rogue one for the best.

If you think Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie, you are a boring person who is probably a pain in the ass to be around. Andor is good, but overrated, and leaves out much of what makes Star Wars great, to its detriment.

They should’ve stopped making Star Wars after ROTJ. Like, I guess TLJ and Rogue One were pretty alright, and I hear good things about Andor, but that’s a some shitty RBI for 50 years.

Definitely the best thing to come out of the Star Wars universe, which thankfully only has four movies in it, A New Hope, Empire, RotJ and Rogue One.

Furthermore, if Rogue One and (especially) Andor are your favourite Star Wars stories, you probably don’t like Star Wars very much.

Rogue One is awful and people who think it's the best one since the original trilogy are insane

I mean, is this really a hot take? Tony Gilroy had to clean up Gareth Edwards' mess with Rogue One, and you can tell because the first two acts of that movie are a goddamned mess.
