The group says Republicans stalled Department of Homeland Security funding for months while refusing to enact the ICE and Border Patrol reforms advocates demanded, and that the new measure would lock in increased enforcement spending. Indivisible warns the added billions would expand detention and deportation capacity and urges Democrats to block the bill to preserve leverage for reforms and limit expanded immigration enforcement funding.
