Universal released the trailer for Will Gluck's rom-com One Night Only, starring Monica Barbaro and Callum Turner. The film imagines a dystopian law that makes premarital sex illegal except for one sanctioned night each year, and Barbaro and Turner play strangers trying to connect during that night. Molly Ringwald, LeVar Burton, Maya Hawke, Julia Fox and Ziwe appear in supporting roles, and Universal schedules the theatrical release for August 7. The Purge-style premise gives the rom-com a high-concept hook that aims to revive big-screen romantic comedies.
