NYT: Inside Team Trump's historic collapse in the 2026 midterms
“Some days, Mr. Trump told advisers privately: “We’ve gotta win. Anything we gotta do.” On others, he sounded as if he couldn’t care less. “It says something very nice about me that they just can’t win without me,” he told aides.” Hahaha holy shit www.nytimes.com/2026/11/04/u...
This story is why the @nytimes.com buried the new rape allegation. They didn’t want to hurt Maggie and Jonathan’s sweet, sweet access.
This article says the R's opposition was "demoralized and unpopular." That's just...wrong. Objectively.
Might have been a story to post BEFORE an election if you were a serious paper.....
That column is boring and, I think, wrong but it’s not suggesting that Trump had some genius plan. Here’s the conclusion: www.nytimes.com/2026/11/04/o...
Wait ... so "wallowing in perpetual combat and chaos" will be a new thing for him? He's been a font of tranquility and order these past two years (or past ten years)?
Thanks for reading... for us!
No one knows exactly how Trump will precede. He is a deeply unstable man, in a deeply unstable period of his life. He could be very dangerous. But he is entirely non ideological. Wouldn’t it be funny if he just went along with the new democratic Congress, just for the accolades?
Rotten orange didn't do "a lousy job". The "job" is to thieve. He is a thief and will continue as such til death. A thief who became president. Not to do presidentin' things, but to steal via the powerful office he holds. Really, that's your deal here. The office is a distraction, a misdirection.
A guy like Trump will always find combat and chaos, whoever runs Congress. That's his whole brand and a feature of his personality defect.
He's too old and tired for combat. He'll always be a chaos agent, until he's six feet under.
