Michigan Democratic Party chair Curtis Hertel announced that Rep. Haley Stevens is no longer a party member just over an hour after Stevens released an endorsement video backing Michigan GOP Senate nominee Mike Rogers. Stevens had been scheduled to attend a unity event with Democratic primary winner Abdul El-Sayed but instead switched her endorsement from El-Sayed to Rogers. CNN interviewed Stevens hours after she flipped her endorsement as the fallout unfolded.

Haley Stevens no longer has access to the Michigan Democrats’ voter database, and her photo has been removed from the party’s website. Staffers in Stevens’ office have also resigned en masse in response to her endorsement. sg.news.yahoo.com/michigan-dem...

Brainstorming the funniest way for Haley Stevens to backpedal from this thing. I think it's "I was actually being a double agent and gathering intel"
