tvOct 30, 202625177

At the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on October 30, 2026, at the Hollywood Palladium, Ambyr Michelle won Outstanding Emerging Talent for her role as Eva Thomas on Beyond the Gates. Beyond the Gates entered the night with 15 nominations in its debut year and Michelle became the first actress from the show to win a Daytime Emmy and only the second actress ever to take that Emerging Talent prize. Beyond the Gates also captured its first Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Hairstyling and Makeup in a tie with The Kelly Clarkson Show and won for Outstanding Lighting, marking multiple firsts for the new daytime drama. The Young and the Restless led all programs with 18 nominations, and Genie Francis received the Lifetime Achievement Award the same evening.

And it’s always a win where they use the writing from a death of a beloved veteran actor who they shafted for years beforehand #GH #DaytimeEmmys

LMAO, #GH winning for Best Writing again. The others have to be absolutely horrible because the writing standard is in hell at General Hospital. #DaytimeEmmys I'm not surprised, though.

You’re not missing anything. It’s nothing like it used to be. It feels like some people got together and decided to put on an awards show in their basement. It’s sad and pathetic

Robin1

I should have done that. This is so bad.

It’s a little painful, but Roger H just won a Best Supporting Actor Emmy. Sigh
