At Final Fantasy XIV FanFest Tokyo the keynote expanded on the upcoming Evercold expansion and confirmed a January 2027 release window. On the floor and in watch threads, a player's glamoured walk was singled out on the FanFest screens, while attendees kept pointing to a BB cosplay and the black mage circle cookie moment as highlights. Many players said they are racing to clear Dawntrail content before Evercold, and personal posts noted anniversaries and a Venat piece circulating among the crowd.
