Bird of the Day, theme 'Yellow'

A tiny Goldcrest perched in bright sunshine embodied the literal yellow reading, while classic yellow species appeared as a singing Yellowhammer on a branch. Others found yellow as an accent in a gannet flying at Bempton Cliffs, and the alternate red interpretation appeared in a bright red ‘I’iwi at Hakalau Forest. The theme asked for any bird with yellow plumage, alt red any bird with red plumage.
