AEW Collision featured a singles match between Swerve Strickland and Myron Reed, with posts from attending viewers and commentators saying Swerve helped make Myron look strong in a standout encounter. Multiple observers noted Swerve arrived in street clothes and the bout turned into a physical fight rather than a straightforward squash, leaving Myron with a strong showing. Social posts labeled the match a contender for match of the night and praised Myron’s aerial work and Swerve’s willingness to put the younger performer over. The episode’s advertised card also listed FTR versus MCMG in the Best-of-5 series, an appearance from Jay White, and Divine Dominion versus Wrathlander, framing the Swerve, Myron match as one highlight of a busy Collision program.
