Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said negotiating teams from Ukraine, Russia, and the United States may meet in Abu Dhabi in November to hold talks aimed at ending the nearly five-year war. Zelenskyy told ABC News he is willing to freeze the conflict along current front lines to stop the fighting but insisted Ukraine will not cede additional territory to Russia, which he said currently controls more than 19 percent of Ukraine. Zelenskyy also lamented diminished U.S. assistance, saying Ukraine received only 24 Patriot interceptor missiles in the past three months while estimating a need of about 350 per month. The White House has intensified pressure on Zelenskyy to make concessions for a deal, and Zelenskyy criticized President Donald Trump for lifting some Russian oil sanctions and urging Kyiv to halt strikes on Russian energy infrastructure. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov separately said trilateral technical talks would take place in Abu Dhabi in the first half of November. Zelenskyy added that U.S. satellite support and the Starlink network remain limited, constraining Ukraine's military communications and air defense capabilities.
