sportsOct 16, 202631210

Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Miguel Rojas announced his retirement immediately following Game 4 of the NLCS, a 6-4 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers on October 15, the fptrack.com report said. The 13th-year player officially finishes his career after completing 12 professional seasons. Rojas closed the postseason with two hits, one walk, and two strikeouts in six at-bats across four games, recording a hit and a walk on October 14 during the series. Los Angeles pulled him before his first at-bat in his final game, and the club’s depth chart at third base will continue to rely on Max Muncy and Enrique Hernandez. The announcement brings Rojas’s fantasy baseball eligibility to an end, according to the same report. Local and national coverage noted his role in the Dodgers’ recent championships and postseason moments, with several outlets publishing obituaries and retrospectives.
