Blade Runner 2099 drops NYCC trailer, premieres Nov 25 on Prime Video

Prime Video released a new trailer for Blade Runner 2099 at New York Comic Con and confirmed the eight-episode limited series will premiere globally on November 25, 2026. The series stars Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer with Dimitri Abold and Lewis Gribben among the regulars and a recurring cast that includes Sheila Atim, Tom Burke, and Matthew Needham. Set fifty years after Blade Runner 2049, the story follows Cora, a fugitive who assumes the role of a Blade Runner and teams with Olwen, a Replicant near death, to hunt a runaway concealing a truth that could topple a fragile Los Angeles. Silka Luisa serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer; Jonathan van Tulleken directed the first two episodes. Executive producers include Ridley Scott, Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, and others from Scott Free Productions and Alcon Television Group. All eight episodes will stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.
