obvious vs oblivious: W: why were the 🏀fiba championships were held in berlin at the tail end of the W 's 2026 regular season? it completely took all the proverbial wind out of the sails as far as fans' excitement. enjoyment. and teams' momentum. many of us have lost interest now. awful decision.

See you Sunday, baby!!! LETSGOOOOO!!!!!!!

The Mystics won the regular season series against the Dream including one game where they set a franchise record in blocks. Angel has to avoid trying to power through the Kira/Kiki double team and everyone has to hit their threes, especially Naz and DB because teams don’t game plan for them. #wnba

The Game 2s are double-headers on Tuesday and Wednesday night. Which means someone out of those Eastern Conference lower seeds is going to have to host a late game. Indiana, I guess? NY and Washington won't want 9pm (or later) local tipoffs if they can in any way avoid them. #WNBA

I haven’t been payinf close attention to the basketed ball lately. How are the Mystics’ chances here? Surreal to see DC doing things, feels early 90s

Lupita I’m just an outside observer here—a theoretical fan but I don’t have access to many games though maybe I can stream on Prime? anyway who do we like here, assuming we root against Indy

This is probably one of the more exciting opening round brackets that I can recall. Every team has serious firepower and if you don't bring your A game it will be over quickly. The guard play on each team will be really fun. #wnba

If you haven't been watching the WNBA this season, make the playoffs a priority because the field is ridiculously tight and the teams are loaded with superstar talent.

A little more drama than they would've liked, but that's the #2 seed for Golden State, and a matchup with Dallas in the first round of the playoffs. Leaving the small matter of Las Vegas vs Indiana in the 3-6, which might get a small amount of press attention. #WNBA
