Taylor Swift will premiere the music video for "Patient Zero" during the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, Sept. 27, with a 13-second preview airing on CBS Mornings. The video stars actors Colin Farrell and Dakota Johnson and was shot with cinematography by Academy Award winner Emmanuel Lubezki. Swift announced the single earlier this week and said she has been "impatiently waiting" to reveal that the song and a deluxe edition titled The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, featuring four new songs, will arrive on Friday. The VMAs will present Swift with the ceremony's first-ever Artist Director Honors, an award organizers say recognizes artists whose behind-the-camera work has expanded music-video storytelling. That new accolade, combined with Swift's 11 nominations this year, will make her the VMAs' most-awarded artist, breaking her tie with Beyoncé. The show airs on CBS and MTV at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, 4:30 p.m. Pacific, and will stream on Paramount+.
