Presley Gerber, son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died on Sunday 20 September at a rehab facility in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles county medical examiner said. The 27-year-old former model’s cause of death has not been disclosed. Allie Jenkins, a representative for Crawford and Rande Gerber, confirmed the death and said the family is requesting privacy. Presley was born in California in 1999, signed with IMG Models at 15, made his runway debut in 2016 for Moschino’s Resort show in Los Angeles, and worked with Celine, Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana and Pepsi. He had spoken publicly about long-term struggles with depression, addiction and prescription medication dependency, including a 2023 comment on Studio 22 that mental health is “a 24/7 job,” and his sister Kaia described his “decade-long struggle with drug addiction” in Vogue’s September 2026 issue. In 2019 Presley was arrested for driving under the influence and was sentenced to three years’ probation with required programs and community service.
