Warner Bros. released the second and final trailer and poster for Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s Digger, which opens in theaters October 2, 2026. Tom Cruise stars as Digger Rockwell, a powerful, greedy CEO racing to prove he is humanity’s savior after unleashing an apocalyptic Greenland iceberg nicknamed Judy. The film also features Jesse Plemons, Sandra Hüller, Riz Ahmed, Sophie Wilde, Emma D’Arcy, Robert John Burke, Burn Gorman, Michael Stuhlbarg, and John Goodman. Iñárritu wrote the screenplay with Alexander Dinelaris, Nicolás Giacobone, and Sabina Berman, and produced the movie with Cruise. Emmanuel Lubezki served as director of photography; the production filmed for six months in the UK in late 2024 and into 2025 and was shot on 35mm VistaVision. Early coverage compares the tone to Dr. Strangelove for the climate era, and the new trailer notably includes audible lines from Sandra Hüller.
