Nintendo schedules Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct Sept 8, General Direct Sept 9

Nintendo will air two back-to-back broadcasts next week: a The Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary Direct on September 8 at 7 a.m. PT with a runtime of about 30 minutes, and a general Nintendo Direct on September 9 at 7 a.m. PT with a runtime of about 45 minutes. Nintendo's official posts promoting "Nintendo Direct 9.9.2026" and a Zelda anniversary Direct list those start times and lengths and note the general Direct will be followed by a Nintendo Treehouse livestream. Some announcements and reporting cite the 7 a.m. PT start as 10 a.m. ET.
