Yesterday and today is the annual Notting Hill Carnival, the second biggest street festival in the world, behind the famous Rio carnival in Brazil. Why is it year after the year, the focus is always on the number of arrests that takes place at this event? Why the need constantly show anything 1/2

They have to feel afraid so they show the 0.05% of people who behave like dickheads. It’s the same reason they don’t highlight the 20-25% of the far right who beat their wives and girlfriends
James6I've been going on and off for 45ys and always had a blast. I found the people who complain are generally those that have never attended. There's a lot vantage points where you can plot up with the kids and have a picnic and watch the floats and make a day of it without venturing into the party zone
