Whatever joy you felt on receiving this award is just a pale reflection of all you've given to your readers. Thank you for everything you created and shared with us.

I'll give this to the #HugoAwards captioning. They know when to be accurate. (cc @tkingfisher.com)

A slide says "Presented by Harry Turtledove."
At the bottom a caption reads:
"testosterone than the males. Two, thanks to a pseudo penis formed by an erectile clitoris, they have larger equipment than the males. The downside is that they have to give birth through it. While you are recovering from that here's Harry Turtledove."

We finally got @adapalmer.bsky.social's acceptance speech for Inventing the Renaissance at the Hugo Awards, and it's a good one: "If cautionary tales worked, they'd have worked by now." So building the future it is.

Tonight, I'll get to see someone else win the second Hugo Award for poetry, and we will be the only two ever to have them as Special Awards rather than a standard category. I cannot wait to congratulate the winner, and to see what flowers bloom in future years!
