Liverpool have agreed a deal worth up to 9123m to sign 23-year-old France forward Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain, with an initial 9106m fee plus 917m in add-ons. Barcola is expected to undergo a medical this weekend before signing a long-term contract at Anfield and prefers to play on the left wing, though he can also play on the right or through the middle. His arrival increases uncertainty over Cody Gakpo's future; manager Andoni Iraola said he "cannot guarantee anything" but wants to keep the 27-year-old. Liverpool remain in the market for a right winger, having explored moves for Yankuba Minteh and Ismaila Sarr. Barcola moved from Lyon to PSG in 2023 for a reported 938.5m and has won multiple domestic and European trophies with PSG according to reports. PSG initially valued Barcola at 9145m, so the agreed package would be a record fee for a player leaving Ligue 1 and represents a substantial profit for PSG if add-ons are met. Barcola could also provide cover for Alexander Isak while Hugo Ekitike recovers from a serious Achilles injury.
