Depends. Will they not prioritise Nvidia cloud services and NVIDIA-aligned frameworks ? Hugging Face only works because it's trusted by everyone. Chinese labs might now look for other options (for now as a backup)

Hugging Face is about to become a part of Nvidia. Not sure if I am a fan of this. That is an enormous amount of data and open model weights Nvidia gets control over. This reminds me of Microsoft buying GitHub.
