Blue Sky Art Show, theme 'Chaos'

The Blue Sky Art Show is a weekly community event with today's theme #Chaos, inviting artists and photographers to interpret disorder and disruption. Submissions lean toward nature and urban decay, with photos of massed wildlife, weather-driven scenes, and gritty human-made ruins alongside abstract light experiments. Specific gallery entries include thousands of Snow Geese taking flight over Saskatchewan, the rusting remains of a ship boiler from a shipwreck on Saint Paul Island dated 1985, and a decaying thistle plant shrouded in heavy mist. Look for chaotic skies, start-of-a-blizzard scenes, Grand Prismatic Spring color experiments, and chaotic graffiti and urban interiors under the #Chaos hashtag.

The back story to this picture:

This is Bill and Ted (Ted at the front and Bill at the back) We rescued these beautiful and in perfect health senior pups from the #chaos of almost being euthanised as their precious owner had passed away and the family didn’t want to take them on.

We got these cuties from an animal shelter locally as the vet refused to do as the family asked (you don’t just put down perfectly healthy animals!!) and they where put up for adoption.

They are our #Summer boys (we got them in July) and are now irreplaceable members of our little family.

And now the picture description for the visually impaired:

Our warm, intimate photograph shows two small dogs cuddled together on a soft grey blanket decorated with dark blue paw prints, on a sofa.

In the foreground is a small, long-haired golden-and-white dog lying down and facing the camera.

It has golden-brown fur around its ears and body, with a broad white stripe running down its face and a fluffy white chest.

Its large, dark eyes and black nose give it a gentle, attentive expression. One front paw stretches forward across the blanket.

Behind it, nestled closely against its back, is a smaller black-and-tan dog.

It has pointed ears, a black coat with warm tan markings above its eyes, around its muzzle and on its legs.

The dog rests its head affectionately over the first dog’s back and looks towards the camera.

The pair appear calm, comfortable and very affectionate, creating a lovely image of canine companionship.

The soft indoor lighting and the close embrace give the photograph a cosy, homely feeling.

Finally, our picture today is finished with a simple white border frame.
