German prosecutors say a second suspect in the 2022 Nord Stream gas pipeline blasts was arrested in Pula, Croatia. The detainee was identified by authorities as Ukrainian citizen Volodymyr Z and was taken into custody on the basis of a European arrest warrant. German prosecutors allege he is a trained diver who "participated in the necessary dives" to attach explosive devices to the pipelines. Croatia will extradite him to Germany to face prosecution in the ongoing investigation into the undersea explosions.
