Lucasfilm premiered the first teaser trailer and poster for Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 at D23, with Dave Filoni and members of the cast onstage. The series returns to Disney+ on January 20, 2027 after a roughly three-year wait, a date that briefly leaked when Rosario Dawson was photographed holding the new poster. Season 2 follows Ahsoka Tano and her Jedi apprentice Sabine Wren as they travel across a mysterious, perilous world to find their way home, while Hera Syndulla, Ezra Bridger, Garazeb 'Zeb' Orrelios, and Chopper confront Grand Admiral Thrawn and his allies who aim to plunge the New Republic into war. Disney released a large-format poster described by attendees as one of the stronger recent Star Wars posters and showcased costumes and concept art on the D23 show floor. Rosario Dawson said the season is "massive; the stakes are higher, the battles are bigger, and the threat of Thrawn looms large for Ahsoka."

This trailer is WILD! I've not been this excited for a Star Wars project in a while. 🤯 I did not expect Season 2 to have as much space battle stuff as they're showing but this looks to be the most ambitious space battle(s?) since at least The Battle of Scarif in Rogue One.

Ahsoka trailer looked decent enough. Dawson was only heard in a few shots but still sounded like an emotionless robot, which was one of my main criticisms of Season One. At least Hayden gets to act. Effects look great, but let's hope that is true for the entire season and not just the beginning.
