I don't know who 'they' is but there's a cyclospora season in the U.S., widely considered to end August 31. I'd give it a few more weeks after that.

This is a societal failure not a personal one but I'm seeing some folks having anxiety over not being able to access greens, so another reminder that you can kill cyclospora and a lot of other stuff by cooking vegetables at an appropriate temperature

I freaked out last May when the FDA stopped tracking cyclospora (among other things) and started growing all my own lettuce in Aerogardens. My dad thought I was nuts. Not anymore!
