American Horror Story Season 13 teaser reunites past cast

FX released the first teaser for American Horror Story season 13 showing Jessica Lange reprising Constance Langdon from Murder House and also appearing as Sister Jude Martin, Fiona Goode and Elsa Mars. Evan Peters appears as Kai Anderson plus Tate Langdon and Rubber Man, and Sarah Paulson returns as Cordelia Goode; Angela Bassett appears as Marie Laveau and Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery. Creator Ryan Murphy said the season is not a direct continuation of Coven but collates elements across past seasons, with some actors playing two characters and even acting opposite themselves. The confirmed cast list includes Kathy Bates, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe, Leslie Grossman, Joey Pollari, John Carroll Lynch and Frances Conroy among others, and John Carroll Lynch returns as Twisty the Clown. Ariana Grande was originally announced but left because her tour conflicted with production. American Horror Story: 13 premieres September 24 on FX and will stream on Hulu in the United States and Disney Plus in the United Kingdom.

I get so angry at the Academy that she has been denied an Oscar TWICE. First portraying Tina Turner and then the second Black Panther movie snub (I was in tears with her performance). These awards are a joke. 🤬

I never planned to go back to AHS after they crossed the picket line & kept making it during the strike a few years back. (Also didn't love the casting of Lady Gaga, personally.) However, Angela Bassett was phenomenal, & she's one of the best performers of all time (fight me)! I may reconsider!

She's such an excellent actor. I'm really excited to see her reprise the role. I grew up in Nola so of course Laveau, she's still a big deal. Basset plays it so well. Exactly how I envisioned Marie in my mind.
