I was finally able to catch Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Definitely worth springing for the 3D on it. Of course, now I see it gets the IMAX screens this weekend. Which leaves me little time to see The Odyssey in non-70mm IMAX (the 70mm IMAX is sold out for the next several weeks). I got till Wednesday

If the success of Brand New Day leads to a new movie with Spider-Man and the X-Men, and there’s a high chance that it will, it should be mandated that Arcade be included as one of the villains. He could even be the *main* villain.

Kudos to Tom Holland for having the humility and respect for the Spider-Man character to keep the mask on/do voiceover work in #BrandNewDay instead of what so many other actors do when playing masked superheroes.

I never finished Spider-Man Noir with Nicolas Cage, but after seeing Brand New Day, I had to go back, and I’m so glad I did. What a joy, especially in black and white. I studied film in college and have always loved the style of classic noir. Great show, beautifully done.
