Kevin Alcántara hit his first homer, a fly ball to left-center that scored Dansby Swanson on August 3. Carson Kelly homered to left to score Alex Bregman and push the Cubs to a 6-3 lead over the Dodgers in the bottom of the third. Matt Olson homered for a third straight game, and Jung Hoo Lee hit his sixth homer for the Giants, rounding out a slate heavy with multi-run blasts.
