Bought Halo: Campaign Evolved and I already hate what they've done.

The placement of Halo among my PS5 games is f-ing HILARIOUS

After watching all the Campaign Evolved scenes strung together in a movie, it's a solid retelling of Combat Evolved. It's a privilege as an actor to be able to return to a performance years later with all the things you've learned and how you've grown. So good for the returning cast.

I don't think I'm ever gonna be able to process why Campaign Evolved has like 20 fuckin elaborate armor sets when it's predominantly a first person game with pre-rendered cutscenes The only way the armor will matter is in co-op and/or using the jank-ass third person skull

They could rebrand #343industries to #HaloStudios or Best Ever Game Studios or whatever they want, but as long as it's a bunch of leads designing by committee and managing an army of freelancers who come and go whenever MS decides to undercut their pay, #Halo is never coming back. #blutoid

Halo: Campaign Evolved might be the strangest remake of a game I have ever played. It's like they were trying to make a faithful 1-to-1 remake but gave up about two thirds in. Everything is just slightly off in a way.

I'd love to work on another Halo game if it meant Unreal Engine. The opening of Campaign Evolved reminded me having the main menu's background music on Infinite on repeat for essentially 10+ hours a day at the height of the pandemic. And my office getting to a toasty 80+ degrees
