AEW Collision: Thekla and Hikaru Shida win, set up Redemption title matches

On AEW Collision, Thekla (c) and Hikaru Shida (c) defeated Willow Nightingale and Maya World in a tag main event. The win set up singles title matches for AEW Redemption the next day, with Shida challenging Maya World for the TBS Championship and Thekla defending the AEW World Championship against Willow Nightingale. AEW billed those singles matches for the Redemption card and promoted Collision as the final lead-in before the pay-per-view. The outcome makes both champions defending title matches at Redemption and closes Collision with those confirmed challengers in place for July 26.
