The Morning Show to end with Season 5 in 2027

Apple has confirmed that The Morning Show will conclude with a fifth and final season, which the company says will premiere in 2027. Starring and executive produced by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the series debuted with Apple TV+ on November 1, 2019, and became one of the service’s flagship launch titles. Across its first four seasons the drama earned widespread critical acclaim and awards recognition, with Billy Crudup winning two Primetime Emmy Awards for his role as Cory Ellison and the series receiving multiple Emmy, SAG, and Critics Choice nominations. The fourth season premiered in late 2025 and continued storylines about the UBA-NBN merger, deepfakes, conspiracy theories, and the erosion of truth by misinformation. Apple confirmed fall remains its typical premiere window, making a fall 2027 debut the most likely release timing for the final season. New cast additions for season five include Jeff Daniels and Jesse Williams. The fifth season’s arrival will close one of Apple TV+’s longest-running original dramas that helped define the service at launch.
