Red Sox 15-game win streak ends
After the Red Sox lost, 5-1, to end their 15-game winning streak, a number of fans stayed and applauded.
I would have if I could have, but I was watching from home. Here’s to starting another streak on Friday!
I find baseball boring, but going to a Red Sox game at Fenway is amazing. The crowd is far more interesting to me than the game. Whole blocks of seats have been held by multiple generations who great “neighbors” like family. Don’t miss the experience if you get the chance.
THE RED SOX 15 IN A ROW TIED WITH 1946 FOR THE LONGEST WIN STREAK IN FRANCHISE HISTORY
I'm really happy for Red Sox fans, especially after such a frustrating first half of the season. In 2021 the #STLCards won 17 in a row and as a fan that was one hell of a ride. Enjoy it, Boston.
the truest statement i've heard about the 2026 red sox season is that it's like the 2012 and 2013 regular seasons combined crammed into a single season
this is disgusting to me
I forgot the Red Sox were allowed to lose baseball games
love this, they absolutely deserve an ovation for this streak
My mom had been a massive Red Sox fan my whole life (I was born in 1990) I literally do not have the ability to forget Red Sox are allowed to lose games, I still remember in 2004 when my mom woke me up to tell me they were going to the World Series
I had given up by the All Star break. 15 games is a heckuva run
What?!!?? When did this happen? Did I miss a meeting?
but that's all they did at the beginning of the season
A Red Sox win tonight would've broken the team's all-time record for most consecutive victories. When they lost 5-1, I went with Whitney's "Didn't We Almost Have It All." 😢
Clocked this walking out. Deeply melancholic, perfect soundtrack. Currently smoking a cigarette on the rain despite it not raining.
I was excited for your medley of Happy Birthday Sweet 16, You're 16, and of course 16. Oh well.
As others have said, perfect choice. We will be back on Friday to start again.
