AEW Dynamite, Kevin Knight retains TNT Championship

At AEW Dynamite on July 22, 2026, in Nashville's The Pinnacle, Kevin Knight successfully retained the TNT Championship against Darby Allin. The opening bout featured violent, high-risk spots: Allin hit a Spanish Fly from the crowd and a top‑rope dive that crashed through the timekeeper's table, while Knight targeted Allin's groin on the barricade, sent him into the ring steps, and used a post arm injury and heavy strikes, including Hammer and Anvil elbows. Allin landed two Code Reds and a Coffin Drop outside the ring, but Knight ultimately kept the title. Knight is slated to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at AEW Redemption on July 26, and the win keeps Knight a champion heading into that title match. The match continued the personal feud that began when Knight turned on Allin at Double or Nothing on May 24.
