I'm glad Mamdani said what he did about Netanyahu and arresting him, but I also am perplexed by people suggesting he should potentially arrest despite already knowing he lacks the legal authority to do so. I can't imagine an easier case for martial law than directly interfering with federal powers.

There is not carve out in the separation between state and federal powers for "except if you really, really think you're in the right." That's treason. Period.
