VRChat players share rare catches and avatar edits

On VRChat, a sudden moment kicked off by players snagging a rare in‑game catch spilled into a wave of avatar reveals and edits as people celebrated upgrades and finished builds. One player posted ecstatic about finally obtaining a Gryphon avatar base and a shared edit that made the character 'just work' after multiple attempts. Creators also hyped a new avatar release, Haida, slated for July 24th, alongside an announced follow up world tool, Dark Scanner 2, coming in Q3 2026, which developers say will expand what spaces can scan and hold. Amid that, summer‑themed avatar photos and tummy‑style character posts framed the mood: warm, finishing touches, and showoff-ready.
