Duane Ward dies at 62, former Blue Jays reliever
The #BlueJays announce that Duane Ward, one of the greatest relievers in franchise history and a two-time World Series champion, has died. Ward was in town ahead of yesterday’s 1992-‘93 celebration and passed away of natural causes, the club said in a release. He was 62.

#Bluejays just announced that Duane Ward has passed away. Teamed with Tom Henke to form the greatest bullpen combo in club history, but more importantly, a warm, wonderful man. I got to work with him several times on the radio and seeing him was always such a pleasure. Gutted for his family.
