One of the things that annoys me about The Discourse surrounding the upcoming release of Nolan's adaptation of The Odyssey is the complaint from Chudsville that Nolan should have "cast actual Greek people to play Greek characters."

I just want to say fuck you to all of the scalpers that bought up The Odyssey tickets a year ago. I live in one of the few cities with a true 70 mm IMAX theater and it's like this every single time a new Nolan film drops. I had to wait months to see Oppenheimer. Fucking ridiculous.

Pro tip, don’t go to see The Odyssey with a Greek. We’re already incredibly displeased with the film.
