Alien: Earth Season 2 begins filming in London

Production on Alien: Earth Season 2 has begun in London and the series has added Tracey Ullman, Sam Spruell and Jerome Flynn to the cast. The new additions join previously announced guest star Peter Dinklage and will appear alongside returning lead Sydney Chandler and an international ensemble that includes Alex Lawther, Timothy Olyphant, Essie Davis, Babou Ceesay and others. Variety and Comic Book Club report that Sam Spruell reunites with showrunner Noah Hawley, who previously cast him on Fargo. There is no premiere date yet; FX says Season 2 will air on FX and Hulu in the United States and on Disney Plus internationally. Roles for Ullman, Spruell and Flynn have not been announced.

Hell yesssssss! Give me more. I love how strange this entry in the franchise is. Feels SO much like some of the comics. I still am giggling at how many people thought this was a short series or cancelled when that HUGE cliffhanger ending dropped last summer!

Listen I’m easy to please. You put a xenomorph in something and let it run wild and slaughter a bunch of people. I’ll at least be satisfied. Alien Earth took big swings like Prometheus and covenant(movies I love but will admit have a lot of issues) and was mostly coherent and successful imo.
