Kyle Fletcher wins AEW International Championship

Kyle Fletcher defeated Konosuke Takeshita to win the AEW International Championship on AEW Dynamite Beach Break, July 8, 2026, in Clearwater at the BayCare Sound Simulcast; the episode aired on TBS and HBO Max. Fletcher ended the match with a corner brainbuster to secure the pin and the title. Mick Foley conducted a live interview with the new International Champion during the broadcast. The match followed the Tommaso Ciampa vs. Chris Jericho bout on the card and came on the same show that featured MJF vs. Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship.

The Continental title shouldn’t exist at all and the C2 should be for the AEW World Title, and if this Mox/Ospreay thing leads to something, it should be towards that. Unify the World and Continental Title and make the Continental title defunct.
