Argentina come from 2-0 down to beat Egypt, reach World Cup quarter-finals

Argentina overturned a 2-0 deficit to beat Egypt 3-2 in a Round of 16 match in Atlanta, scoring three late goals to advance to the World Cup quarter-finals. Egypt took a shock lead through Yasser Ibrahim and Mostafa Zico and then restricted Argentina further with goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir, who saved Lionel Messi's first-half penalty. Cristian Romero began the fightback with a header in the 79th minute and Lionel Messi equalized five minutes later with a composed finish. Deep into stoppage time Enzo Fernández finished a swift counterattack to complete the comeback and seal the victory. The win keeps Argentina alive in the tournament and sends Lionel Scaloni's team to face the winner of Switzerland versus Colombia in the quarter-finals.

🙄 VAR didn't give up three goals in 14 minutes. FIFA sucks, VAR sucks, but they ran out of gas and got outplayed, and I don't know how anyone can have watched that game and believe that adding another 30 minutes to that game would've changed which team won.
