Marlon Mandarin was out for a swim when all of a sudden a camera was pushed out of the bushes and caught him off guard, on seeing this he wasn't happy because the pool was supposed to be private. Sadly when you look as good as Marlon you attract a certain level of attention, especially from the paparazzi because they need to sell their photos to put food on the table for their families. It doesn't help when your partner is Maya Mama Mandarin and hosts Love Island, so Marlon just had to put up with it or go into hiding which he didn't want to do. Captured at WWT London Wetlands.

A very pretty Pied Oystercatcher with its long slightly upwardly curved red-orange beak holding a mussel it's just caught, and its red eye witha red eye-ring and its red legs, and its black and white head and body wades out of shallow water in order to enjoy its tasty treat.

A smallish bird is on a diagonal branch. Its legs are red, its body mostly blue with some light yellow/green spots and black wings and back of the neck. It has a longish slender beak curved slightly downward. It is facing our left, giving a profile view.
